The information below will help you plan and enjoy your day at Woodcote Park Golf Club. Whether a visitor or part of a society you can be assured of a friendly welcome and an enjoyable experience on our golf course.
Advanced Bookings
For the enjoyment of all players tee times are restricted to maintain an uncrowded course and advanced bookings are recommended. Book online or by telephone to the Pro Shop 0208 668 2788 option 1.
On Arrival
Visitors should report to the Professional Shop and settle green fees before play. Green fees may be paid by cash, cheque or debit cards. Society players are not required to register with the Professional Shop although the Organiser should liaise with the Secretary's office on arrival to re-confirm final numbers and any arrangements required.
Driving Range
You are welcome to make use of our driving range and practice areas before playing on the course. There is an area for short irons, chipping and bunker play, and a separate Driving Range - tokens for ball hire are available from the Pro Shop. There are also warm-up nets and a putting green, both adjacent to the 1st tee.
Tee Times
Play starts from 8:00am, normally from the 1st tee only, although for very large groups alternative starting tees may be possible. Please check your starting tee with the Professional Shop and arrive on the tee 5 minutes before your allocated time to avoid delays.
Handicap Restrictions
The course at Woodcote Park is not suitable for the novice golfer and visitors are required to provide handicap certificates before play.
Trolley and Buggy Hire
Pull Trolleys are available to hire from the Professional. The Club also has a small fleet of 2 seater buggies which are also available for hire. In winter please check buggies are being permitted should you wish to hire or bring your own ride on buggy.
Catering
A light breakfast and lunch menu is available from 7.30am until 2:30pm each day. If you wish to arrange more formal dining please contact the House Manager in advance of your visit.
Speed of Play
For the enjoyment of all players groups must keep up with the group in front and let faster groups through at the first opportunity.
Distance Markers
There are 150 yard (white) and 100 yard (blue) plates in the centre of the fairways, and also 150 yard posts on the right hand side of fairways, all measured to the centre of the green.
Mobile Phones
Mobile Phones may not be used on the Golf Course except in an emergency. They may be used in certain areas of the Clubhouse, i.e. changing rooms, corridors,the Pro Shop and car park. They must not be used in the bars or restaurant to receive calls.
Health and Safety
May we remind all players that they have a duty of care to ensure that no person is in range when a shot is played. Players are recommended to have individual golf insurance cover.
