The 1st hole, which runs straight away from the clubhouse, is a long opening hole with a generous fairway. A well struck drive short of the fairway bunkers will leave you around 190 yards to the centre of the green. The green is large and guarded by two bunkers on the left side and one front right. Club selection is important if the flag is towards the back.
